Called in for a few little bits, scenery, backdrops, etc. Had a pleasant chat, cuppa and really helpful advice. Now I know where the shop is I will be back for much more (even though Warrington did beat Saints). Call in, you won't be disappointed.

I met up with Penketh Model Rail Centre at the Kyle MRC 2011 Exhibition in Stevenston on the 21st May 2011 during my day trip from N. Ireland to Scotland. The staff where really nice friendly and very helpful guys to deal with. They provided me and my friend with two Bachmann Class 70 locos for £70 each. A real bargain considering everyone else was looking up to £88. In these financial times, money saved on one item, helps to partly pay for another, so thanks for the savings lads.
A special thank you to Paul for your trust in me and for taking a post dated cheque for my goods. All in all, a great friendly professional service from Penketh, and I am looking forward to my next purchase, and to view their website when it is up and running. The overall rating I have given to Penketh, is for the service and stock they had on display at the show. So if they are like this at a show, I am sure I'd be giving them an amazing 10 rating to the model shop if this service is anything to go by.
