This was my first order as I had received a gift certificate. Certificate received Monday, placed order Tuesday, order received Thursday - and all just before Christmas! Package very well wrapped and protected. Now I've discovered website hope to place more orders in 2012, especially if Bachmann items could be added to the stock.

Tracked down what would seem to be one of the last of Hornby's Kidwelly Castle loco's here. Excellent easy to use website helped me locate it in seconds and the price was actually less by about £20 than that advertised by Hornby (and Hattons) who were both our of stock! The items arrived well packed, in perfect order and good time even though nearly Christmas. Well done!

I've ordered from them twice and both times the item was dispatched 2 days after I ordered. I can't see any reason for this and would expect the item to be dispatched the same day if ordered before 12pm for example or the following morning. I ordered spray paint which was sent in a jiffy bag which luckily wasn't damaged, perhaps a little more care could be taken when packaging items as this is a pressurised container. Other than that good service and lower prices than everywhere else so I can allow a slight delay.
