I wanted to purchase a bus model for my dad for christmas and was told that there were none in stock, which isnt a problem, I kept phoning back to see if a delivery had been made and eventually on the saturday was told that there had been a delivery but all the models had been ordered by people, where the hell was mine then if it wasnt bloody on order. After being totally pissed around I will never use the shop again I would sooner pay more money and go elsewere. And I have a good mind to bill the shop for my sodding wasted phone calls too.

Totally disagree with the comments above, we visited the shop last week, and also the shop in derby, and both the lady in Loughborough and the chap in derby are very friendly and helpful. there prices are cheaper than hattons, and will compete with any of the famous 'box shifters'. i can only comment for visiting, not for mail order, but a very enjoyable experience at both shops. well worth a visit.

Ordered an item from the Loughborough model shop, got email to say on holiday and orders should be dispatched around 2nd November onwards. A few days later I rang to see where my item was as had paid for 1st class delivery. I was told being picked up Friday sent out Saturday should have it Monday, so on Tuesday when it still hadn't arrived, I was told they hadn't even received the model yet. I decided to cancel my order there and then, as it was due for a birthday which by then it had missed.
In My Opinion the attitude of staff is dire, they do not seem interested in helping at all. Would I use them again? NO WAY, can highly recommend MODELZONE really helpful and pleasant staff.
