Unfortunately, there is no date for FJF Squire's comment.
However, Intercity Models' shop in Porthleven is now closed, as clicking on the link will show. The owner has been ill for some time, but is now doing some work again (May 2012).
There is also a different phone number (01209 860851), which is probably why the old one doesn't work.
I have put a rating & recommendation, but this is on the basis of having known and supplied Pete for many years, rather than using his shop.

What is the point of displaying a phone number that does not receive incoming calls? I want to visit this shop when I visit Cornwall later this year, but in view of the distance from my stay I need to discuss if they have what I am interested in. No can do! Otherwise it seems a reasonable shop.
