Have used Hattons to buy online several times always excellent response and delivery, however the test for me is when something goes wrong. Recently i bought an item that was faulty when received i immediatly phoned Hattons where i was instructed what to do (note instructions for return are also on the website) i returned the item as instructed and the response was immediate, i was contacted by phone the next day and a new replacement was immediatly sent and my postage costs were refunded. Will have no hesitation in continuing to buy from Hattons in the future.

Website said they had more than 10 DCC Sound Bachmann UK Jubilee in stock, also more than 10 sets of Pk6 Shell black petrol tankers. Their website states "want to visit our well stocked Liverpool shop" so thought it ok to travel 120+ miles from Warwickshire to be told they only had 1 set of tankers and the only train available was the one in the show cabinet. Complete letdown, shop scruffy, staff appear dis-interested. Certainly won't be going again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Hmmm where to start, range is massive, prices are cheap, predominantly geared towards a mail order pile em high, flog em cheap operation. The shop itself was badly lit, dusty, very scruffy with boxes laying everywhere. Junior staff didn't seem motivated in selling or giving good customer service, which was a let down. Parking was a problem, took 35 minutes to find a space.

Won't be using their shop again, will be sticking to their mail order.

I found this shop very easy to find though parking can be difficult at peak times. They have a very good internet site and also helpful on the phone. I chose to go in person as it is only a 30 minute drive from southport. The shop has alot of stock in and they are always getting deliveries. If they haven't got what you need they will do their best to get it asap..
