If you live near Bournemouth and wish to pop in and browse a good selection of Locos, Scenery, Track etc and wish to be treated with possibly the best customer care I've ever had, by a man who really knows his stuff and is more than happy to share with you his extensive knowledge to make sure you come away with exactly what you are looking for then I strongly suggest you keep driving as fast as the limits allow past the Bournemouth Model Railway centre, through Christchurch and on to Milford high street where you will find Milford Models. I visited both and in Bournemouth Model Railway centre I found it an almost impossibility to squeeze my way along the shelves, because of the crammed, over-crowded stock, only to find that absolutely nothing was priced and when the shop keepers finally stopped playing with their trains on the display in the window, I found them to be not very forthcoming with help. I left and drove out of my way to Milford to a charming little shop and spent nearly an hour with the man in there who gave me everything I needed to know, including hand drawn wiring diagrams and help via email if I required it. I made some purchases at much better prices and was so glad I'd driven the extra way. Do the same! You will not be disappointed!
