Everybody thinking of supporting you local hobby shop including Addlestone models. Don't bother. Why I hear you ask well it's simple if you spend hundreds of pounds in thier shop every month they will chat and make you tea each time you visit. Go there and just spend a few quid and have a problem then your on your own. Order online and pay the postage and not the parking tariff. When Addlestone models was part of Kempton park model club they were good. Kempton park is no longer involed with them. Ask yourself why!!!.

Very Happy with my purchase, the lads are very helpful and have a vast experiance in rc helicopters. Great shop large amount of stock will use them again and again, Pricing wise not at all OTT!

I brought a small speed boat for my son for Christmas which cost £40.00 took it out on a lake yesterday for the first time, it only lasted 50 seconds before the boat filled up with water and decided to cut out in the middle of the lake, so decided to take it back to the shop today, didn't ask for a refund or exchange. The man in charge decided to start arguing with me saying "well its been 4 months" and "it will fill up with water" I explained that I had not had the chance to travel to a lake to try it out before. The man was so rude and augmentative I have never ever experienced anything like in it any shop before, I stated I couldn't actually be bothered to argue with him any longer!! This is a small model shop I was under the impression that small businesses at this current time would have some customer service experience, absolutely disgusting bahaviour. I will obviously never be going back there again :-(

Ordered a set of spares because the original purchase was faulty. 3 weeks later, no contact and still no spares. Ordered online at another shop - received in 3 days (cheaper even after postage). It is a shame as I had originally gone to Addlestone Model Shop to support local business - suffice to say - I will never go back. In this day and age of online stores I would have thought the easiest way for brick and mortar stores to flourish would be to provide a good service.

I found the staff very helpfull and knowledgeable, they had everything I needed and at a good price. The shop seemed up beat and chatty, mutch better than a silent awkward shop. Lots of stock jammed into a small shop. Well worth a visit I think.

Addlestone Model Centre has a very good selection of stock for all types of modelling however the shop is too small for the amount of stock they have!!. The staff are all very knowledgeable in all the fields covered within the shop. Highly Recommeded
